This special edition CNS webinar is being hosted as part of the 2019 Science Odyssey campaign #OdySci. Science Odyssey is a national campaign, powered by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), that celebrates Canadian achievements in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

Canadians are very interested in eating healthier. However, information is often confusing or even conflicting. This webinar will present the latest scientific evidence regarding yogurt and energy balance, the role of dairy in the risk of chronic disease, as well as data on how much sugar Canadians are consuming. Through the interactive format, webinar attendees will have the opportunity to test their knowledge and get answers to their questions around these emerging topics within the context of the Canadian diet!

Speakers will share key highlights from three sessions at the recent Canadian Nutrition Society conference held May 2-4, 2019:
