CNS Expert Database
The Canadian Nutrition Society (CNS) has developed an Expert Database that will allow us to quickly access expertise in specific areas in order to be responsive to media, government and other relevant inquiries where CNS can inform about evidence-based nutrition information. The database will also help the CNS to seek appropriate expertise when adding to committees, forming expert interest groups, and to connect members to experts in their focus area.
Join the Database
CNS is inviting its members to become a part of this database. The process will take approximately five minutes and can be completed and submitted directly online. The online form asks you to:
- Indicate how you wish your expertise to be utilized (i.e. media interview, consultation, join a committee)
- Outline your area of focus and specific areas of expertise
- Provide a short 150-300 word personal summary to be included with your form
The expert database is linked with your CNS member ID (email and password). Each year, at member renewal time, you will be asked to update your information to ensure that our database stays accurate. In addition, you can go in and revise the information at any time by using your CNS member login information.
Thank you in advance for your support. By sharing your expertise, you will help CNS to be a responsive and approachable organization to ensure that accurate information is being provided on nutrition issues.
