Canadian Patient Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Alliance (CPPENA)
The Canadian Patient Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Alliance (CPPENA) is a national group of provincial chapters made up of patients and caregivers living with home nutrition support. CPPENA brings this network together to collaborate on advocacy, education and networking opportunities that aim to have a positive impact on the lives of patients, caregivers and families. CPPENA is led by an Advisory Committee that is representative of the provincial chapters. CPPENA is currently focusing on adult home parenteral nutrition (HPN) patients, with plans in the future to include pediatric HPN and adult/pediatric home enteral nutrition (HEN) patients.

Patient and Caregiver Needs Assessment
Thank you to the more than 140 patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals who responded to the CPPENA Needs Assessment that was circulated from June to August 15th. We are extremely pleased with this response rate and with the valuable input that was received. This input will guide future activities of CPPENA, including the program for our upcoming Patient Conference (October 7th, 2021), future webinars, and new resources and networking opportunities that we heard will be valuable for the CPPENA network.
