Webinar Description: It has been 15 years since the last adult obesity clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) were published in Canada. Since then, there have been immense changes in evidence in the field of clinical obesity, specifically regarding nutrition recommendations. The 2020 Canadian Adult Obesity CPGs recommend a shift in the understanding of obesity that advocates for providers, researchers, policy makers and public messaging to move away from an 'eat-less, move-more' mentality. This webinar will provide attendees with a review of the Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) evidence, recommendations, and clinical pearls to apply into practice.
