Organized by trainees for trainees, this Trainees in Nutrition Pre-conference Workshop will focus on developing and strengthening professional skills for those studying in the field of nutrition.

Workshop Objectives:

Join nutrition students from across the country for a day of presentations and activities that focus on forwarding your career!

08:45 - 10:15 Assessing the methodological quality of nutrition studies: Checklists for cohort, case-control and controlled trials

This session will provide trainees with an overview of approaches for quality assessment, review available quality assessment instruments and provide insights into newly developed quality assessment tools designed for nutrition studies.

Employers from a variety of sectors will share their career path so far, the details of their various roles, and what matters most to them on applicant’s CVs and during interviews, all the while offering advice to trainees on how to prepare for their dream career.
